Information provided below helps principal investigators at UT navigate the complex management of awards. Some colleges and schools have internal department research administrators. When available, they are the primary point of contact.

Items required if applicable:
- Subaward documents:
- Letter of Commitment (signed by subentity Authorized Organizational Representative)
- Subrecipient’s Statement of Work

Use this form to populate brief descriptions of proposed research within UTRMS.
To find your pre-award contact, see the OSP Constituency List.
Concierge Services
The Office of Sponsored Projects established its Concierge Services to extend hands-on pre-award services for successful proposal creation to the UT research community. Concierge Services are a resource for PIs, researchers, research support staff and students who request in-depth support for proposal development.
Concierge Services include assistance with:
- Proposal preparation (non-technical portions of the proposal)
- Review of proposal solicitations and guidelines
- Small group training
- Individualized in-depth guidance
- Onboarding and/or training of new research support staff
Consultation appointments for Zoom or in-person meetings may be made Monday – Friday between 7:30 AM to 4 PM. The Concierge Services office is located on the UT Austin main campus in the Peter T. Flawn Academic Center (FAC), Suite 326 and accommodates one-on-one and small group meetings. The staff are also prepared to offer training and assistance in researchers’ offices or designated spaces.
Cost sharing is a commitment made by an institution to fund a portion of the total cost of a sponsored agreement. Find information on UT Austin’s cost sharing policies and procedures for reporting.
