Effective fall 2024, academic and GRA (Graduate Research Assistant) appointments will align with the academic calendar. This will ensure compensation aligns with the period being worked and that a paycheck is issued on September 1 for August activity.

Are tuition dates changing to match appointment dates?
At this time, the tuition process will not be adjusted. You will continue to process using the historical date for fall 2024 and spring 2025.
Fall term historical appointment dates are September 1 – January 15.
Spring term historical appointment dates are January 16 – May 31.
My grant expires on August 31, but we always get a renewal with a new account number. How do I process the GRA for fall 2024?
The fall semester begins August 16, so you can use your FY24 account for August 16-31 and your new FY25 account for September 1 – December 31.
