The Animal Resources Center (ARC) oversees the care and use of vertebrate animals utilized as part of the research and teaching activities of the University and serves as a source of expertise and support for investigators and the administration on all issues related to laboratory animals.

The Bureau of Business Research (BBR) provides communities and policymakers with evidence-based socio-economic research for a stronger and more resilient Texas. Since its founding in 1926, the BBR has developed a reputation for nonpartisan analysis of economic trends through publications, independent reports and sponsored research.

The IC2 Institute was established at The University of Texas at Austin in 1977, as a think-and-do tank to explore the broad economic, technological, and human factors that drive economic development in regions.
