Office of Research Support and Compliance

New Proposal, Award, and Conflict of Interest software launches June 27!
On June 27, the new UT Research Management Suite Grants and COI modules will go-live, replacing the existing software tools for proposal submission, award management, and disclosure of potential conflicts of interest / conflicts of commitment. After that date, all grants and COI information must be submitted through the new system.

For more information on the new software including key process changes, training, and support options, please visit the UTRMS Grants & COI launch page.
RSC offices are physically closed with staff working remotely. All submissions, email, phone lines, and online chat are being responded to as usual.

The Office of Research Support and Compliance (RSC) partners with researchers to maintain the integrity of research at the University of Texas at Austin. To do so, RSC helps researchers:

  • Protect the rights and welfare of human research participants;
  • Conduct research that uses animals humanely;
  • Utilize recombinant DNA and biohazardous materials safely;
  • Foster transparency in research by managing financial conflicts of interest;
  • Assist researchers in managing foreign relationships and activities; and
  • Conduct responsible research by providing research ethics education.

RSC’s goal is to foster the highest quality research by assisting researchers with compliance and research best practices.
