Legacy Research Management System (RMS)
Access to External Research Administration (ERA) systems is often necessary for proposal submissions and award management. The ERA team supports the Office of Sponsored Projects (OSP) in maintaining access to these systems at The University of Texas at Austin.
eProtocol is a web-based technology used to prepare, submit, review, approve and communicate about research protocols.
REDCap (Research Electronic Data Capture) is a secure web platform for building and managing online databases and surveys. It provides automated export procedures for seamless data downloads to Excel and common statistical packages (SPSS, SAS, Stata, R), as well as a built-in project calendar, a scheduling module, ad hoc reporting tools and advanced features, such as branching logic, file uploading and calculated fields.
Find out more about REDcap by logging in with a UT EID and password to access general features, training videos and Frequently Asked Questions.
Research TRACKS is a research training and acknowledgement system that integrates all research-related trainings into one database. This allows researchers and research coordinators to verify training records in one place rather than across multiple sites. Users may also register for research training courses offered by UT, find information for CITI and ALASS courses and print transcripts directly from within Research TRACKS.
