RCR Talks

RCR Talks are virtual sessions led by faculty and other subject matter experts covering a wide range of RCR topics. These one-hour talks can be used to fulfill research sponsor RCR training requirements. Registration is available on Research TRACKS by searching for the corresponding course number.

RCR Two-Day Workshops

Each semester, ORSC offers a two-day, in-person RCR event that allows researchers to complete eight hours of RCR training.  Workshops feature expert-led sessions including interactive case discussions.  To learn more or register, search Research TRACKS for RR0100.

 

Train-the-Trainer RCR Workshops

ORSC is offering a Train-the-Trainer workshop for faculty members who want to discuss RCR topics with their students during lab or research team meetings, incorporate RCR content into an existing course, or have been assigned to teach RCR and would like some guidance on best practices. Participation in the Train-the-Trainer workshop will fulfill sponsor RCR training requirements.  The workshop will introduce key RCR principles and provide adaptable teaching tools.  Please register in TRACKs for this course.

Online RCR Courses for Graduate Students

The Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI Program) is a series of online modules covering core RCR topics and can be used to meet funding agency RCR requirements.

The CITI RCR course offers content adapted for a variety of disciplines:

  • Biomedical RCR
  • Humanities RCR
  • Physical Science RCR
  • RCR / No Animal or Human Subjects
  • RCR for Engineers
  • Social and Behavioral RCR
