General Course on the IRB Processes and Human Subject Research Webinar
This course is hosted by the Office of Research Support and Compliance (ORSC), UT Austin IRB. The course is intended for faculty, staff and students who are engaged or plan to be engaged in human subject research. If you have not attended the webinar before, please register to attend. If you have attended and wish to do a refresher on materials previously discussed, you can also register to attend. This webinar will cover the role of the UT IRB and brief overview of the ethical principles of human subjects research, how to determine if IRB review is required, the levels of review and review timelines, the IRB submission process, an overview of what is needed for a submission and what to expect in your review, and an overview of UT Research Management Suite-IRB (UTRMS-IRB)
