The University of Texas at Austin (UT Austin) aims to develop research-focused partnerships with various Southwest region universities to build capacity and competitiveness on external research funding opportunities. The program will help to develop new connections in strategic research areas, capitalize on strengths of partnerships that already exist, and increase opportunities for investigators from colleges and universities in the Southwest and UT Austin to collaborate on funding pursuits. Researchers from universities in the Southwest region of the United States (including, but not limited to Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas and Oklahoma) are encouraged to participate.
