Quantum Circuits Group Paper Selected as Editor’s Suggestion

Assistant Professor Shyam Shankar and his Quantum Circuits Group recently published the paper, "Experimental signatures of a 𝑍̂𝑋̂ beam-splitter interaction between Kerr-cat and transmon qubits," in Physical Review Applied. The paper was also selected as Editor’s Suggestion.

The work demonstrates a new interaction between a Kerr-cat qubit and a transmon, a step toward more efficient, fault-tolerant quantum error correction.
