Short Courses in Bioinformatics and Biocomputing

Training in computational and bioinformatics approaches to biological problems is an important part of the CBRS mission. Each semester, we offer a variety of short courses each semester in diverse topics for learning computational approaches to solving biological problems. Courses are $50.00, some are free. All meet for one day, lasting between two to four hours per course.

The annual Big Data in Biology Summer School is an opportunity to expand on knowledge gained from the short courses, or dive into a new topic in depth.

Additionally, the CBRS provides Core Facilities Short Courses to introduce the science community at UT to cutting-edge technology for enhancing research. Most of these courses are free and are 2-4 hours, lasting one day.
