Background/unmet need

HYDROFRAC3D is a unique software for realistic simulations of hydraulic fracturing processes. It allows one to predict growth of three-dimensional fractures pressurized by fluid. Unlike other tools used for simulating hydraulic fracturing processes, HYDROFRACT3D allows for realistic three-dimensional curved fractures.

The invented software incorporates 30 years of research by Dr. Mark E. Mear in the area of computational fracture mechanics, which results in superior computational methods for simulating realistic three-dimensional curved fractures.
