RMS Replacement Town Hall #1 for PIs/Faculty
UT Austin’s Research Management System (RMS) will be retired as part of the transition of legacy applications off the mainframe. RMS contains records of PIs’ proposed and funded projects, and includes the Proposal Review Form (PRF) that all researchers or research administrators must complete to initiate OSP submission of their grants to funders.
In addition to RMS, the project scope includes replacing the research support applications for managing IRB, IACUC, and FCOI records with an integrated suite of pre-award and compliance software tools.
The Office of the Vice President for Research is overseeing the replacement of RMS. To solicit feedback from the research community about the RMS Replacement project, we are hosting a town hall event for faculty and PIs. Please join us as we review the project background and scope, answer your questions, solicit your feedback, and enjoy light refreshments.
