Responsible Conduct of Research Training Workshop
Session 1 – Monday, March 26th, 9:00 am – 1:00 pm, POB 2.402
Session 2 – Tuesday, April 3rd, 1:00 – 5:00 pm, POB 2.402
Attendance at both sessions is required for completion of the workshop.
This RCR training is designed with National Institutes of Health RCR training recommendations as a guide:https://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/notice-files/NOT-OD-10-019.html. The sessions will include interactive discussions and case study reviews. Topics will include: Research misconduct; Data management, sharing and ownership; Conflict of interest; Mentor/mentee responsibilities in research; Responsible authorship and peer review; Social responsibilities of scientists; and policies regarding Human Subjects and Animal Subjects research.
These sessions are being offered in lieu of the annual RCR one-day seminar, previously provided by the Office of Sponsored Projects.
