This all-day seminar will be conducted by Grant Writers’ Seminars & Workshops, LLC. It comprehensively addresses both practical and conceptual aspects that are important to writing competitive grant proposals. It is appropriate for faculty members, postdoctoral researchers, and administrative staff, and addresses a variety of funding sources (federal, private, and/or industry). Regardless of the agency, participants are taught to write with a linear progression of logic, which leads reviewers through an application without them knowing that they are being led. Each participant will receive a detailed handout and a copy of The Grant Application Writer’s Workbook. Registration is $75 and includes one workbook of your choice. Participants may choose to purchase additional workbook(s) at $75 each. Contact Elena Mota to indicate which workbook(s) you would like. Payment may be sent by check or Interdepartmental Transfer (details above).
*Starting in Fall 2018, The Office of Sponsored Projects and the Vice President for Research will sponsor an annual grant writing workshop. If you are receiving grant workshop ads from other sources, please disregard them as they are not endorsed by The University.
