Data & Donuts Workshop Series – R for Geospatial Analysis

To promote a new suite of GIS and Geospatial Data Services at UT Libraries, we are hosting some exciting new events this Spring:

  1. Our Data & Donuts workshop series has a special emphasis on GIS and geospatial data. As usual, all workshops will be on Fridays at 3:00pm in the Perry Castañeda Library (PCL). Please see the event flyer for details.
  2. Save the date: February 13, from 10:30-noon. We are hosting a panel discussion at PCL to celebrate Love Data Week, entitled “Local Perspectives on the State of Open Data.” This discussion will feature experts from local government organizations (the City of Austin, TNRIS (Texas Natural Resources Information Systems), Travis County, and the Texas General Land Office) who are involved with the management and sharing of their organization’s geospatial data.
