CBRS Administration

Andreas Matouschek is a biochemist at The University of Texas at Austin, where he is a professor in the College of Natural Sciences. His graduate work with Alan Fersht resulted in the seminal application of phi-value analysis to the study of barnase, a bacterial RNAse used in many protein folding studies.


Ruth is the Senior Finance and HR Manager for the CBRS. Ruth has more than 20 years of experience in finance, accounting, banking, customer service and law. She oversees CBRS finances and HR functions. She is responsible for managing and forecasting budgets and expenditures, and reviewing operational performance. She also provides financial and administrative support to other core facilities under the Vice President of Research’s (VPR) office.
Ruth earned her Law degree at the University of Zaragoza in Spain.

Bryan joined CBRS as an Administrative Associate in 2014. He has over 15 years experience, including office management. He currently maintains the Biomedical Research Supplies Core and also provides support by processing invoices, billing and purchase orders for MGEF, Microscopy, Electronics, and Macro-Crystallography.

Andrew joined the CBRS team in 2015. He has over 12 years experience in business operations, shipping, and receiving. He provides support by processing invoices, billing, and purchasing for Computational Biology and BioInformatics, DNA Sequencing Facility, and Genomic Sequencing and Analysis Facility.
